Finance Committee
Responsible Management.
About
The Finance Committee serves as a steward of the financial resources God has entrusted to Franklin United Methodist Church.
Through prayerful oversight, responsible planning, and transparent financial practices, the committee helps ensure that Franklin’s resources support the ministries, mission, congregation, and community we are called to serve.
We recognize that every gift is an act of worship and stewardship. We are committed to managing those gifts with faith, integrity, accountability, and care.

Meetings and Membership
The Finance Committee meets quarterly, generally following Sunday worship.
Committee membership is determined through Franklin’s nomination process and includes designated church leaders. Although individuals cannot join the committee informally, there are other opportunities to support its work.
Opportunities to Serve
Members and friends of Franklin are invited to share their time, talents, and gifts in support of the church’s ministry.
Volunteer assistance is especially appreciated in planning and organizing Family and Friends Day. Experience in budgeting, organization, event planning, recordkeeping, fundraising, or financial stewardship may also be helpful.
Most importantly, we welcome people with hearts for service who are willing to work together and help strengthen the ministry of Franklin United Methodist Church.
